Governor Bullock Looking for Industry Leaders for Main Street Montana Project Key Industry Networks

Governor Steve Bullock is looking for private-sector leaders to be part of the Main Street Montana Project’s Key Industry Networks. Members of these networks will help to implement the steps laid out in Main Street Montana Project plan. http://www.matr.net/article-60034.html

Bullock is seeking leaders to be part of Key Industry Networks in the following areas:

* Energy & Utilities

* Agriculture & Food

* Manufacturing

* Tourism

* Natural Resources

* Innovation & Technology

* Transportation

* Small Business/Downtown

* Health and Wellness

* Interconnectivity/Telecommunications

* Housing & Development

* Financial Services

"Through the Main Street Montana Project, we’ve relied on the expertise of private-sector leaders to help develop a business plan for the state. I want to continue to rely on their expertise as we begin the tough work of completing the tasks laid out in the Plan," Bullock said. "I’m constantly impressed with the talent and innovation of Montanans, and I look forward to utilizing these skills to improve Montana’s economy and increase wages."

Montanans interested in serving or nominating a business leader they know to one of the Key Industry Networks can learn more about the opportunity and download an application at http://www.MainStreetMontanaProject.com. Applications must include the application form, a resume or short biography, and a letter of interest. To receive first priority consideration, applications should be submitted no later than Friday, May 16th. Bullock launched the Main Street Montana Project in May of 2013, with the goal of developing a business plan for the state. Relying on the leadership of Larry Simkins of the Washington Companies, and Bill Johnstone of D.A. Davidson, as well as the input of thousands of Montanans, the Project released this plan earlier this month.
