university building on strengths. The past year has brought commitment to a new Missoula-to-Lolo
trail, to a new campus for Missoula College, to new economic development initiatives and new
business.

We’re looking at new urban renewal districts, new software to support emergency first
responders, improvements at our historic courthouse, new recruitment efforts to bring students
to the University of Montana. The impact of our work today — this foundation-building — will
be felt for generations to come.
