Startup Weekend at MSU gives crash course in business creation
Local CEOs, software developers, financial consultants, aspiring entrepreneurs and Montana State University students came together this weekend at the second Startup Weekend to try to launch new businesses.
The crash course in business creation has participants spend 54 hours taking innovative business ideas from concept to launch.
Startup Weekend, held in Reid Hall on the MSU campus, began Friday night. Participants had 60 seconds to pitch their business ideas. Catchy ideas were selected, teams were formed, and for the rest of the weekend those ideas were built into startup companies.
