New Montana State University research chief Renee Reijo Pera outlines brighter future

Montana State University’s new vice president for research brought an upbeat, hopeful message to the faculty Wednesday, laying out her plans to grow research at MSU after two years of declining grant dollars and rising concerns.

Renee Reijo Pera said she plans to "do all we can do" to keep MSU’s status as one of the Carnegie Foundation’s top 108 universities with very high research activity in the nation.
