TODAY 12/29 – Montana Dept. of Commerce, Olympic Hopeful Maggie Voisin to Promote Montana with 360-Degree Live Video – Join her today as she Skis Whitefish Mountain Resort

The Department of Commerce on Friday will continue its winter tourism marketing campaign with a Facebook Live event to be shot in 360-degree video for the first time ever.

Whitefish native and Olympic hopeful Maggie Voisin will host the downhill skiing-focused event, which will be shot in partnership with Explore Whitefish at Whitefish Mountain Resort. The 360-degree video technology gives viewers full control of the camera while the video is playing, allowing them to explore the slopes from any angle.

"Montana has been at the cutting edge of tourism marketing and a leader in social media for more than a decade," said Commerce Director Pam Haxby-Cote. "Now we’re charting new territory again, and we couldn’t be more excited to have a Montana-born ambassador help us to show off some of the best skiing in the world."
