LaunchPad program at MSU aims to connect students and alumni with entrepreneurship opportunities

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Entrepreneurship in Montana took a leap forward in late November with the grand opening of the Blackstone LaunchPad http://www.blackstone.com/news-views/press-releases/blackstone-charitable-foundation-expands-campus-entrepreneurship-program-blackstone-launchpad-to-montana at Montana State University. Funded by a three-year, $2 million grant from the Blackstone Charitable Foundation, the LaunchPad program aims to show students and alumni that they don’t necessarily have to leave the Treasure State to pursue a job in a given field — they can create their own.
