Tea company Bijabody started in Missoula looks to expand national reach

A beauty product company that began in a Missoula garage is poised to become a nationally recognized brand thanks to new partnerships with two Whitefish companies.

Melissa Picoli began BijaBody http://www.bijabody.com/ in 2011 making two beauty blend teas. Now 15 of the company’s products are sold at more than 60 retailers, including some of the nation’s top salon and spa companies.

Current CEO Picoli and Chelci Bruno officially launched the company in January 2012 with six products made in Missoula. Now the manufacturing of the holistic body care and beauty blend teas is outsourced while Picoli focuses on product development and keeping the business running.
