‘Bring it to Bozeman’ – City looks to bring state’s outdoor businesses together, join forces with national outdoors group

It starts with a sweeping mountain scene slowly revealed by morning’s light. The tranquil imagery is interrupted by an SUV rumbling up to a fishing access and the voice of KC Walsh, president of Simms Fishing Products http://www.simmsfishing.com/ , describing to viewers why he relocated his company to Bozeman 20 years ago.

is called "Bring it to Bozeman," and is the first step for the Montana Outdoor Industry Association http://www.outdoorindustry.org/ . The organization is spearheaded by the city of Bozeman but has larger aims of bringing the state’s outdoor businesses together and becoming affiliated with the national Outdoor Industry Association.

The city of Bozeman has tabbed the outdoor industry as one of several primed for growth, along with technology, photonics, bioscience and light- to mid-manufacturing.
