Montana Career Opportunity – Development & Events Manager – Museum of the Rockies

The Development and Membership Department at MOR is responsible for securing approximately 25-30% of the Museum’s operating budget each year in addition to restricted campaign funds for institutional programming priorities through Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Benefit Events, Exhibit and Program Sponsorships, Memberships and Grants. The Development and Membership team under the Museum’s Development Director works in conjunction with the Museum’s Executive Director, Finance Director, Museum staff, community volunteers, and MOR, Inc.’s Board of Trustees and National Advisory Board to ensure annual revenue goals are met. One major revenue-producing component of this team effort is a successful Benefit Events program which contributes 45% or roughly $500,000 in revenue each year.
