University of Wyoming Partners with Innovation Center of the Rockies to Bring Faculty Inventions to Market

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

The Innovation Center of the Rockies (IRC), one of the nation’s premier entrepreneurial support organizations, has entered into an agreement with the University of Wyoming to help boost commercialization of intellectual property (IP) resulting from faculty research.

With more than 1,500 domain expert advisers around the country, a network now connected nationally with state-of-the-art virtual presence technology, the ICR has developed the capacity to expand to additional universities, federal labs and other research institutions outside Colorado.
