Montana State University is set to begin its search for a new chief information officer.

A 10-member committee has been formed to conduct the national search. Associate Provost Ron Larsen is the search committee’s chair.

"Our new chief information officer will provide important oversight, management and strategic planning for the university’s information technology infrastructure," Larsen said. "We anticipate a strong pool of candidates, and we look forward to selecting a person who will continue to advance the university’s information technology goals in the university’s strategic plan."
