Great Falls Public Schools’ dropout rate reached a 10-year low, the school system and United Way of Cascade County announced Monday.
Still, that means 112 students dropped out of the GFPS system in the 2012-13 school year, and that is 112 too many, a group of educators and United Way representatives emphasized at a media event at First Interstate Bank.
It is still marked improvement since between 2005 and 2010, an average of 200 students dropped out of Great Falls Public Schools.
