Feds aware of $10.5M grant mismanagement at Mineral Regional Health Center

The federal agency that’s awarding up to a billion dollars in health care innovation grants is aware of the results of a probe into improprieties in Mineral Regional Health Center’s $10.5 million grant.

"We look forward to continuing to work with them on ensuring the appropriate use of public funds (and) meeting the goals and objectives of the award," he said. "We’re focused on helping make this project, which will benefit Medicare patients, a success."
