Montana Tech moving ahead with 1st PhD program

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Montana Tech is still moving ahead with the process of developing its first ever PhD program.

Tech will partner with Montana State University and the University of Montana to offer the Material Sciences doctorate.

Meaning students at any of these three campuses will be able to enroll in the program starting next fall.

The curriculum is being written, students are being recruited for the program, and money is being raised for the research component of the program.
