The Montana Jerky Company – Columbia Falls, Montana beef jerky finds fans across the country

In 1945, Ron Vandevanter’s father started the business, and since 1977 Vandevanter has run the Montana Jerky Co. http://www.montanajerkyco.com/ The pins on the map in Chicago, Houston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Atlanta and elsewhere show the places he’s shipped pouches of award-winning beef jerky, places as far away as Bob’s Barber Shop in Florida.

"I don’t go out of my way to market it, but people find us," Vandevanter said last week on a tour of his shop.
