Montana Career Opportunity – Director of Community Development – Big Sky Economic Development, Billings

BSED http://www.bigskyeconomicdevelopment.org/ is seeking candidates with a strong ability to lead our impactful Community Development
program.

This position is responsible for leadership and day‐to‐day operations of a key part of our
mission‐‐including grant writing and administration, community, business, urban renewal, and
infrastructure planning and development projects.

Applicants should be able to communicate
effectively, maintain our public and private‐sector partnerships, possess an innate ability to build
consensus among diverse groups/opinions, and be motivated by a strong desire to improve the
community in which we live.

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Community Development,
Business Administration, Engineering or related field (Master’s degree in Public Administration, or
related field, will have preference), 5+ years of directly‐related public administration, community
development, grant writing, and/or project management experience, with applied knowledge in
grant administration and team management. A combination of education and experience
deemed appropriate for this position will be considered.

Salary is DOE and includes a full benefit
