Helena’s economic outlook is strong
For this first column, I thought a look around Helena might be of interest. Our local economy seems to have risen again to a nice manageable growth. Great news again for Helena from the Policom Report on Economic Strength – Helena is again (for the third year in a row) ranked number two in the nation out of 576 cities under 50,000 people! (Number one is Concord, N.H.) They define economic strength as "the long term tendency for an area to consistently grow in both size and quality!" That says a lot for our fine city! Check out other Montana cities in the report at http://www.policom.com/microrank.htm
