Silicon Valley company Apttus opening Bozeman, Montana office and looking to hire 50 people

In a rare move, a software company started in Silicon Valley is spurning the San Francisco Bay area to expand in Bozeman with plans to scale the Montana office as the company grows.

The San Mateo-based cloud computing software-as-a-service company Apttus http://www.apttus.com/ is opening in Bozeman this fall and looking to hire at least 50 people, said CEO Kirk Krappe. Apttus works through the Salesforce.com platform to provide products that assist in contract, revenue and renewals management, among other services.
