‘Economic gardening’ program available in Silver Bow County, Montana

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

An "economic gardening" program https://butte.nationalcentereg.org/ that helps smaller to medium-sized businesses with personalized consulting is coming to Silver Bow County, and businesses can start applying today.

Chief Executive Matt Vincent announced the start of the Butte Economic Gardening Network, which is part of the National Center for Economic Gardening.

The local network, an entrepreneur support organization, works to collect data and information for companies to increase effectiveness and success within and outside of the community.

The program targets "second-stage" companies that are beyond startup but do not have more than 99 employees.
