Over 150 attend Sen. Tester’s workshop to learn how to market Montana internationally

On Friday over 150 attended a workshop hosted by Senator Jon Tester http://www.tester.senate.gov/ , to learn how to strengthen the link between Montana businesses and the state’s tourism.

"There’s opportunities out there to expand their business, create more jobs and be more successful," Sen. Tester said.

Speakers like Roger Dow from the U.S. Travel Association said tourism is Montana’s second biggest industry next to agriculture. And if businesses can capitalize on it, he said there’s potential to grow exponentially.

"The international market has huge opportunities for Montana," Dow said. "People want to see the authentic, the ‘real’ America."
