U.S. Travel Association chief to keynote Tester’s tourism workshop in Bozeman

Tester’s 13th Small Business Opportunity Workshop will be held Friday, May 17

Senator Jon Tester announced today that the nation’s top tourism expert, Roger Dow, President and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, will be a keynote speaker at the Senator’s upcoming Small Business Opportunity Workshop in Bozeman on Friday, May 17.

Tester’s 13th small business workshop will connect national travel and technology industry leaders with Montana businesses to expand tourism opportunities and create jobs in the Big Sky State.

The U.S. Travel Association works to promote the United States abroad, advocate for the travel business, and provide research about the growing tourism industry.

"This workshop is about connecting Montana’s small businesses with new tools and resources to grow our tourism industry," Tester said. "Roger’s 40 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry and his knowledge of international visitors will benefit everyone who comes to hear him speak."

Tester’s workshop will be held on May 17 in the Strand Union Building’s Ballroom A at Montana State University.

Tester’s workshop, which begins at 9 a.m., is free and open to the public. Montanans interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP at tester.senate.gov/rsvp.

Tester’s Bozeman workshop builds on the success of his 12 previous small business workshops held across Montana. More than 2,000 Montana companies and individuals have attended the sessions.
