Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

Willamette University professor Rob Wiltbank has won the 2013 Hans Severiens Award, a national award for angel investing.

The award won’t surprise any Business Journal readers. Wiltbank’s insights regularly appear in the paper.

Wiltbank is involved with dozens of startups and angel organizations. When I quoted him last week in a story about startups, it took a minute to figure out which of his several titles was most relevant for the story.

In addition to his work at Willamette University, Wiltbank is a partner at Montlake Capital http://www.montlakecapital.com/and a co-founder of Revenue Capital Management.
