Fort Benton, Montana expects economic boost from grant

"For small to medium to national organizations, for events and fundraisers of any size, in any format – live, virtual or hybrid – the platform is built for scale."

The City of Fort Benton has secured a grant for more than $500,000 from the Economic Development Administration after several years of planning.

The EDA grant will be combined with city resources to finance a $1.35 million infrastructure improvement to the industrial park.

"It’s a big start for us so we’re hopeful that this all pans out and we are very happy that we got the EDA grant because it’s going to make it all possible," Fort Benton Mayor Rick Morris said.
