Small-business owners are always paid based on sales. When the company does well, the owner is able to take more money out of the company. As a result, they are focused on increasing the top line. If this is good for the owner, shouldn’t all employees be paid based on the revenue of the company? This will match the employee compensation with the growth of the business.
