Butte-Silver Bow, Montana Chief Executive Matt Vincent plants seed for ‘economic gardening’ program

Butte-Silver Bow commissioners on Wednesday began exploring a supplemental program that would help expand Butte businesses.

Chief Executive Matt Vincent said he talked extensively with local business owners while campaigning, and he realized that the city’s entrepreneurs are hungry for more economic development.

In addition to the economic development projects already in place, Vincent suggested the county consider the national "economic gardening" program through the Edward Lowe Foundation.
