Montana high school students learn about medical field with hands on practice
February 13, 2013 /
Great Falls College offers 21 different health care certificate and degree programs, more than any other two or four-year institution in the state, Marshall said. Students can choose from a emergency medical technician certification to a nursing degree.
While students traveled around the simulated hospital to learn everything from radiology to EMT, representatives from businesses such as Benefis Health System, the American Red Cross and BioLife Plasma Services were on hand to show them how a certification or degree can turn into a career.
