Missoula County Public School Board discusses proposed levies to help update technology

NBC Montana learned that the levies would account for a combined $824,000 addition to the technology budget for the school district.

The meeting was informal, geared to answering questions board members may have, in preparation for the scheduled monthly board meeting on Tuesday, February 12.

MCPS to run technology levy

The tech levy will provide necessary improvements to schools in Missoula, with a price tag of $850,000 for elementary and $750,000 for high schools.

"We’re going to be able to replace computers, we’ll provide training for staff. It’s just basically to maintain what we currently have and to improve our computer situation," Apostle explained.
