$15M in Superfund dollars will promote Butte, Anaconda heritage tourism
January 10, 2013 /
Millions in Superfund cleanup money will help promote a heritage tourism plan for Butte and Anaconda that would hopefully entice Glacier and Yellowstone visitors to stop in the historic mining cities on their way.
The plan would install "points of interest" signs on the interstate, entry points to the communities and around town.
The plan is to also make sure those points of interest are accommodating with parking, bathrooms, clean sidewalks and garbage cans.
