Salesforce picked Portland — but how well did Oregon play the incentives game?

Imagine you’re bidding on a house you really want and your real estate agent suggests there’s another prospective buyer in the mix.

Maybe you should up your offer by, say, $14,500?

But maybe the other buyer’s offer isn’t competitive. Perhaps you could save your $14,500 and still get the house?

Now, say this isn’t $14,500 we’re talking about. Let’s talk $1.45 million.
