Great Falls Development Authority (GFDA) Dominates 2012 IEDC Economic Development Awards

Great Falls Development Authority (GFDA) http://www.gfdevelopment.org/ recently received four Gold and one Silver Excellence in Economic Development Awards for communities with populations of 25,000 to 200,000 from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

These honors were presented at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 2, during the IEDC Annual Conference in Houston, TX. IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards recognize the world’s best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials, and the year’s most influential leaders.

These awards honor organizations and individuals for their efforts in creating positive change in urban, suburban, and rural communities. GFDA was the only economic development organization to win in Montana and topped the nation with the most awards in 2012. More information on these projects and awards below.
