Missoula College building No. 1 funding priority for 2013

The University of Montana and the state Board of Regents have named a new building for Missoula College as their highest funding priority heading into the next legislative session.

It’s not the first time the $47 million project has received high status from state officials, but unless the 2013 Legislature looks upon it more kindly this time around, it won’t be the first time legislators will have turned it down.

"We went up twice already in the last biennia, and we went to the table and came home empty handed," said Barry Good, dean of Missoula College. "Everyone presented what they needed to present. Everyone did a good job, I think. It just didn’t happen for whatever reason."
