Labor shortage continues for Sidney, Montana businesses

The Sidney McDonald’s restaurant this week posted its new hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., at least for the time being.

John Francis, owner of the fast food restaurant, said the decision not to serve breakfast at this time was because of an employee shortage.

"We changed our hours to try to accommodate the community the best we could with the staff we have," Francis said last week.

He added service will be primarily through the drive-thru only. "We may try to open the lobby in the afternoon or evening, but there’s no guarantees."
