Reviving the OTO: Grant helps roof ‘heart’ of historic Montana dude ranch

Hidden in the fold of a mountain valley north of Yellowstone National Park, the remnants of Montana’s first dude ranch are slowly being resurrected by a band of passionate volunteers.

"I just love it here," said Colleen Sloan, an outspoken advocate for the site who identifies herself as an adopted member of the ranch’s founding family. "It’s going to sound funny, but there’s a spirit here that makes you want to come back."
