Montana Industries Work Together to Accelerate Energy Efficiency Knowledge and Savings

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Collaboration between Montana organizations, NorthWestern Energy and NEEA helps drive energy-efficient programs and strategic energy management in the region

Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) and NorthWestern Energy today celebrated Montana organizations that are leading the way in managing energy efficiency across Montana. These companies are part of the Western Montana Strategic Energy Management Cohort – a group of Montana organizations that shared both their experiences launching energy-saving programs and their vision for a more competitive Montana business community.

Participating organizations included City of Helena, Barrick Golden Sunlight Mines Inc., Graymont Western U.S. Inc. Indian Creek Plant, Simms Fishing Products and West Paw Design.
