Guard magazine spotlights local men’s invention Precision Lift Inc.

When John Tollenaere and Chris Croff, founders and owners of Monarch-based Precision Lift Inc., http://www.precision.rotor.com opened a recent edition of National Guard Magazine, they were pleasantly surprised to see a photograph of their Heli-Basket attached to a Chinook CH-47 helicopter.

They do see lots of their Heli-Baskets hooked up to helicopters. What was in this particular Heli-Basket, however, was especially interesting — about 6,500 confiscated marijuana plants worth roughly $6 million.

The Heli-Basket is one of several products manufactured by Precision Lift, and drug enforcement is just one if its many applications.

The basket is designed for use in rescue operations, both on land and at sea, for military use and for work in rugged, remote terrain, including forest fire sites.
