Cheyenne, Wyoming wind tower plant should open next year

A $40 million wind tower manufacturing plant is back on track to open south of Cheyenne next year, according to Wyoming Business Council CEO Bob Jensen.
The planned facility, co-owned by Spanish-based steel company Corporacion Gestamp and Ohio-based Worthington Industries, had been on hiatus since late last year, as the companies claimed uncertainty about federal and state taxes and transmission projects.
