Essential Functions: This position requires the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing; business and economic development experience; familiarity with non-profit accounting practices; familiarity with federal, state, and local grant and loan programs for economic development purposes; excellent project management skills, excellent business finance skills; familiarity with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software; proficient internet skills for project research; ability to learn quickly and work independently; ability to operate a computer and other general office machines; maintain accurate and timely records; ability to resolve conflicts; ability to work closely with peer organization; willing to work irregular hours; and have a desire to accomplish the Area's economic development goals and objectives;

Position Background: This position is based in Butte, Montana. Headwaters RC&D covers a seven-county region in southwestern Montana including Butte Silver Bow, Anaconda-Deer Lodge, Powell, Jefferson, Madison, Beaverhead, and Granite counties.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree Required. MBA preferred. Five years experience in economic development or related field. Must be proficient with suite of Microsoft Office products. Previous supervisory experience required. Should be proficient at grant writing and capable of fiscal oversight.

Salary Range: Negotiable, Depending on Experience
