Tyler Technologies http://www.tylertech.com/ is buying a Montana software business providing tax and recording information system solutions to county governments.

Computer Software Associates http://www.csa-inc.net/ , based in Billings, will become a part of Tyler’s local government division, which is headquartered in Lubbock.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Computer Software Associates was founded in 1982, and provides financial management solutions to school districts and county governments. It employs 60 people and has more than 200 installations in 10 states, according to a news release from Tyler.
