Wyoming Schools to Careers program helps students learn about careers

After two months working at Spring Creek Animal Hospital, Jackson Hole High School junior Nina Berlin knows for sure she wants to work in the medical field.

Just not in dentistry.

"When they pull the teeth, it’s kind of nasty," she said of what she has witnessed at the animal hospital. "Teeth kind of freak me out."

Berlin is one of 24 high school students in the Schools to Careers program that matches kids with organizations around town. The class also gives teens a half-credit in career and technical education for working through an internship.
