The Great Falls Development Authority gives $38,000 to Food Bank cleanup

The Great Falls Development Authority http://www.gfdevelopment.org/ Board of Directors approved a $38,312 grant Wednesday to help the Great Falls Community Food Bank clean asbestos from its building.

The Environmental Protection Agency Brownfield grant was approved during the board’s regular meeting Wednesday.

The cost of the asbestos cleanup is estimated to be $53,804, according to the board agenda. The cleanup is part of a $500,000 renovation of the Food Bank.
