Monida Healthcare Network is hiring a Clinical Informatics Analyst.

Position Summary: Responsible for participation in the design, build, implementation, and maintenance of the clinical information system (CIS). This position has 3 main functions: Support of end users, creation of clinical and business reporting functions to include data integration with 3rd part software, and as a key member of the Performance Improvement initiatives and culture within Mondia Healthcare Network and it’s members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. End User Support

– Develop into a NextGen Certified Professional

– Instruct users in optimal workflow and find alternatives if needed.

– Test data reports within Next Gen and create customized data reports if needed. Encourage the use of information technology in the direct provision of care and care delivery system.

– Provide software and hardware technical support in conjunction with CIS vendor for project support, consulting, analysis and testing of business and clinical end-users.
Provide end user training and super-user training to Network Members.

2. Data Reporting and Data Integration

– Create and maintain clinical and cost reports that are useful and meaningful to practice managers, executive leadership and to partners within Monida Healthcare Network using crystal, SQL and other report writing tools.

– Analyze the data generated to inform clinical practice, support the integration of biomedical science, computer science and information science.

– Develop data tracking systems to manage and communicate data, information and knowledge in clinical practice.

– Integrate data files from 3rd party vendors to increase the usefulness of information obtained.

3. Performance Improvement

– Depending on the project, the candidate participates, supports, and/or leads performance improvement activities across a variety of settings.

– Participates and supports Monida’s Quality Improvement Medical Staff Meetings
Maintains awareness of performance improvement processes, regulatory compliance issues, and clinical best practice.

– Presents clinical education and research to various team members.
