Four Hamilton teachers awarded grants from Plum Creek Timber Co.

Four Hamilton School District teachers have been awarded grants from Plum Creek Timber Co. http://www.plumcreek.com/ for their educational projects.

Hamilton Middle School science teacher Becky Burg, Hamilton High School health sciences teacher Marie Antonioli, and Hamilton School District Spectra enrichment specialists Arielle Rhodes and Echo Allison were all recently notified of their awards.

Burg will receive a $7,500 grant for compound microscopes for eighth-grade students who enroll in the forensic science class at Hamilton Middle School. Burg said this course allows students to develop problem-solving skills, work cooperatively and investigate various branches of science in engaging, real-world applications.
