Montana Senator Baucus – Oracle Corp President, Safra Catz, Meet to Promote Partnership For Montana Jobs – Leading Software Company to Make Bozeman its "Finance Hub"

Montana’s senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus met with the President of Oracle Corporation, Safra Catz, today to continue working together to promote job opportunities in Montana. Baucus joined the global software giant in October to announce its acquisition of RightNow Technologies http://www.rightnow.com in Bozeman after the company was drawn to Montana by the national exposure of Baucus’ Economic Development Summits. Oracle recently announced it plans to make Bozeman it’s "cloud finance hub," – the headquarters for all accounting of Oracle’s cloud-related business, which is the company’s fastest growing sector.

Catz said Oracle has been highly impressed with RightNow and the city of Bozeman, and she sees great potential for additional hiring and job growth in Montana. Baucus said Bozeman is a natural fit for growth in Oracle’s accounting operations because of the quality accounting program at Montana State University.
