Allegiant Air flights to Bay Area to start April 26

Allegiant Travel Co. confirmed Tuesday that its airline will start flying once-a-week flights from Billings to the Bay Area on April 26.

Allegiant to Offer Flights to Bay Area

Allegiant Air will begin offering nonstop flights from Glacier Park International Airport to the San Francisco Bay Area this spring, the airline announced on Jan. 24.

Beginning April 27, flights will depart from Kalispell twice weekly and land at Oakland International Airport.

BAUCUS WELCOMES AFFORDABLE FLIGHTS AS BOOST TO MONTANA’S ECONOMY

(Washington, D.C.) – Montana’s senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus and Chairman of the Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee released the following statement regarding the news Allegiant Air will soon be offering flights from Billings, Missoula, Kalispell and Bozeman to Oakland, California:

"While highways are the lifeblood of Montana, more affordable air travel is key to expanding business opportunities and helping boost our tourism industry. The bottom line is: the more we can bring folks to Montana, the more they will be supporting our Main Street businesses."
