Two Portland Incubator Experiment members land investment backing as Portland tech incubator graduates its first class

The Portland Incubator Experiment’s http://www.piepdx.com/ inaugural class graduates next month, and some members — off to find their way in the world — have already found some cash.

Ad firm Wieden+Kennedy http://www.wk.com/ launched the tech incubator last summer as an opportunity to connect with new technologies and nurture Portland’s resurgent startup sector with mentors from Portland’s tech scene and big-name W+K clients.

PIE’s first, eight-member class (it had been nine — one startup dropped out) wraps up its residency at Wieden+Kennedy’s Pearl District offices with a "Demo Day" next month.
