Layoffs at 360 Networks – New owner will maintain Butte office

Several former 360 Networks employees in Butte lost their jobs this week once the sale of the company to Zayo Group http://www.zayo.com/ became final.

Zayo, a Colorado-based bandwidth company, completed its purchase of 360 Networks Thursday.

According to company sources in Butte who did not wish to be named, immediate layoffs numbered between nine and 15. Some of the layoffs were in management, according to sources, and others will be let go in the next six months for a total of about 24 lost jobs.
