Montana CDC Receives Funding for Rural Communities

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) recently announced an award of $105,000 in technical assistance grants to Montana CDC and $500,000 in lending dollars for rural businesses across Montana. Montana CDC was one of 35 community development financial institutions nationwide to receive the award.

The grant money provides specialized help for businesses in the areas of marketing, legal assistance, and accounting, and is specifically designed for rural businesses. These are practical tools Montana entrepreneurs can use to strengthen their businesses and make them successful for the long term.
