Montana State Fund kicking off ‘Work Heals’ campaign
The Montana State Fund is fighting to get workers back on the job with its "Work Heals" http://www.safemt.com/ public information campaign this week.
Montana suffers some of the highest rates of injuries per capita and those injured stay out of work an average of 23 days longer than workers in the rest of the country. That’s why the State Fund, Montana’s largest workers’ compensation provider, is encouraging businesses through television, radio, print and website ads and billboards to encourage employers to develop "Return to Work" programs.
"Return to work programs allow injured employees to transition back to work as soon as their physicians allow," said Montana State Fund President and CEO Laurence Hubbard. "The longer a worker stays off the job, the greater the chance he or she won’t return to work at all, and after 60 days, the cost of the claim greatly increases."
