Yellowstone buses return to their roots – Yellowstone Historic Center Museum

With its close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, West Yellowstone has acquired small pieces of history throughout its time as a bustling western town.

These pieces of history are strung together like charms on a bracelet. Some even jingle, while others creak or are, perhaps too delicate to touch.

Walking through the displays at the Yellowstone Historic Center Museum http://www.yellowstonehistoriccenter.org/ or hearing about how the streets used to be dirt and gravel from a longtime local makes that concept much more real.

Having a line of Yellowstone buses parked in town for the day provides another realistic illustration of times past.
