The public is invited to a free reception on Wednesday, Sept. 14, to learn about Wonderlust, a lifelong learning organization affiliated with MSU’s Extended University. Wonderlust offers short once-a-week, non-credit, no-grades courses for mature adults who want to learn just for the sake of learning. Courses are open to all.

The reception takes place at Country Bookshelf in downtown Bozeman from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and gives an introduction to Wonderlust and the group’s fall courses, which cover topics in history, music, science, art, literature and more.

Eric Funk will provide music, and Wonderlust instructors will be on hand to answer questions about their courses. People may also sign up for courses and/or Wonderlust membership at that time.

All courses are open to the public, but those who become a Wonderlust member receive course discounts, priority enrollment and free entry to other short courses and events. Wonderlust also offers a writers’ workshop, memoir series, book group and opera club as well as monthly Friday Forums, which explore issues of local and regional interest and are free and open to the public.

For more information visit http://eu.montana.edu/Wonderlust or contact the MSU Office of Continuing Education at 994-6683. Free fall course schedules are available online or in 200 Culbertson Hall at MSU.
